Vitamin D

Well, I spent part of my Memorial Day setting up my nest area on my porch. I have a place for the animals and me to get our vitamin D. I am not quite sure Puff is happy. He seems to spend most of his time turning the color of his outside enclosure. The turtles are a bit ticked off too. But, I am happy!! K~

One big Bubble!!

This was a fun picture to take. C's "bubble gum" bubble.

She has a pink balloon, you know the ones you punch.

She had the idea of making it look like a bubble gum bubble.

mini veggies

I need some feedback.

I have created these mini veggies, etc. for a while now.

I was wondering if they would be worth pursuing as far as for a sell-able craft. Can you all let me know what you think about them and if they look interesting enough to go further with?

In the last 10 day!

I feel like I have been out of circulation! The end of the year can get quite crazy at the Walsh home!! Updates are needed:

After S's birthday on the 1st. Our nephew from New York came into town with his mom and dad! That's him on the far left. He is totally in love with C. That's my God Child M in the baby bucket. He is the brother of I, T and F. sitting to the left of C. Then there is my crew, C, D and S! What a bunch!

We entertained them until the 12th.

C had her 10th birthday. We celebrated it on the 12, 13, 14th (actual day) and 20th!!! So I guess that makes her 40 like her mom will soon be!! We had a teacher retirement party. D's teacher. Look out FALL!!


Bing had his surgery on Friday the 18th!

C got her yellow belt in Karate (self defense - it's all too confusing for me!) And broke a board in half.

D had his first baseball game and hit a home run!!

C and D passed into level 4 of Swimming and S is 1/2 through level 1!!

And a new little addition to the zoo - Peanut!

I am sure I am forgetting something. Oh yes and tonight, I am doing my first Pampered Chef Kitchen show since February! AAAHHH.

Truly a Sandwich!

OK, I was just about going to check myself into the

nut ward ( that's what they call it, right?) at the hospital last night!

I have totally and fully entered the sandwich generation!! I am NOT prepared for this stage of my life.

Water Park

Look at the 3 cherubs! This is on S's birthday at a local water park. We had a very nice time. The kids were very wild and slept well that night!

Now I only have 2 more birthday parties to plan in the next 2 weeks and I will be done for another year! 6 in 6 weeks gets to be a lot!

I have waited 10 years......

I have waited 10 years. "Quiet" and confident that my hard work in my perenial gardens would withstand the trampling of little feet, the constant picking of only the heads of the flowers, or the entire plant! That the tender plants would bounce back after being fell on or smashed by a ball.

It is yet another spring and my little friends are poking up their tender heads to say "Hi, we made it yet again, for another year!"

But God has been planting something in me each year that has grown over the 10 years. It has become a stronger part of me.

That would be patience.

Because this year, while trying to photograph my spring friends, another friend proceeded to follow me and tried to eat them!

So it might be 11, 12 or 13 years. But I can wait, and so can my spring friends!!!

Happy Birthday Peeps!!

Happy 5th Birthday Peeps!!!

I remember the night before I went for my planned C-Section with S. I was soaking my feet in the kids bath water. My big belly hangin over and just enjoying the time I had with my 5 and 3 year old.

We went in the next morning and S was born at 8:06! It's a boy! But like all our birthing experiences, He had to go into the Special Care Nursery for 6 days! You'd never know it today, that he had trouble with his lungs. He chatters and screams with the best of them.

Now he is 5!!

That is just amazing! He wanted a Puppy / Balloon Birthday Party, with NO Balloons (too scared they will blow away) and the Puppy had to stay away from the party the entire time, because one of the little guests was afraid of dogs!! So a Puppy / Balloon Birthday with no balloons (he did eventually agree on paper ones) or puppies!
