"Nature does not create its beauty in a day. When the seeds are deep in the soil, it is hard for us to imagine the fruits that will someday emerge."

Taking a break
I just got back from Chicago.
I think it is funny that I could do my blog on my cabin vacation,
but not in the heart of the city. Frankly, I didn't have time.
This is a photo I took this spring of a big bumble bee in my Clematis.
i actually SAT OUT ON MY SIDEWALK for about 15 minutes the other day trying to capture a bee going all the way inside the mandivilla plant i have in a pot by the steps.
never did catch him.
you did a great job. isn't that just a funny pose?

I like it! Clematis has always made me laugh...it sound like a disease, don't you think??
