Where did our mother go?
Crock pot roast.....Beef, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, onions.
Bread...from scratch.
Apple Pie...from scratch Usually it is something frozen on my pizza stone.
I guess it's fall. I like to get baking in the fall. k~
Oh....it was so good! The sweet potatoes worked perfectly. They became mush and just worked into the overall juice of the dish...HOWEVER....It may as well have been poison to my kids. They could not get past the "orange stuff" on the meat. Sigh!!

okay. just went to the store for some goods this afternoon, and i picked up a "yam"
