If you need to clear the table........

I couldn't help thinking about the "If you give a pig a pancake" book when I set out to get ready for the kids to make roll out cookies tonight. It goes as follows:

If you want to make room on the table to roll out cookies, you need to move a large plant.
If you need to move the large plant, you need to move a fish tank.
If you need to move a fish tank, you need to clear out the sink.
If you need to clear out a sink, you need to wash 7 stones.
If you need to wash 7 stones, you need to clean the stove to put them on.
If you need to clean the stove to put them on, you need to get out the bleach spray.
If you need to get out the bleach spray, you need to clean the oven hood too.
If you need to clean the oven hood, you need to also clean the back wall and light switch.
If you need to clean the back wall and the light switch, you need to clean by the microwave.
If you need to clean the microwave, you may as well have lunch
If you need to have lunch, you may as well sit down and work on some holiday crafts.
If you need to make holiday crafts, you may as well snuggle with the dog.
If you need to snuggle the dog, you catch yourself looking at the table and knowing that you need to get started, because you have a lot of work to do.

Pillow top and swans

I had so much fun making this pillow top, that I am not sure if I should continue and make a blanket. It is such a hard decision. This was an inspiration from a pal on Ravelry. Anyway.... at least it is beautiful anyway I use it. The bunny blog is soon to come.......
Last night was so funny. We have very few animals, and are able to slow down a bit at work. During this time, I like to just watch the animals for a few minutes. Swans, all bet it bossy, are so fun to watch. Last night, I had a stand off with one. The largest Trumpeter swan was asserting his power by being stubborn. I need to drain their pool and lift it to hose it out before I refill it. We he decided to stand on the edge while it was draining. So, I went to fill their food bowls and swept up the mess on the floor. He was still there. Hissing and staring at me. So I went to get my pal Kris and she worked on getting him to move while I cleaned the pool. I guess he won. He was wiggling his but and honking. What a bragger :-) K~
