I can't even think of the last time I went to a plant store in the "winter" and bought a house plant. I usually get all my plants in the warm weather. However, I just needed to see more flowers and green. I can not believe how long this winter has seemed! 
I also went and got my pedicure. It FELT GREAT!! I know it is kind of stupid to do it now. I wear stuff on my feet all day. But, I needed to feel summery, and boy, it worked! I loved it. It's supposed to be nice today. 42! Wow. Let's see.

it MUST be a long winter, because even i am starting to try and grow houseplants. no purchases, just keeping a few things alive that i saved and brought indoors last fall.

I love the toes and the purple flowers! I'm already wearing sandles (sorry!) but still have half-red-with-a-snowflake big toes and nothing on the little ones. I think I last had them painted in December. Yuck.
